ANGLE PLC (AIM:AGL, OTCQX:ANPCY) showcased its Parsortix system and assays at the 2024 Annual Congress of the European Association for Cancer Research.
ANGLE presented two posters. The first highlighted the dual analysis of circulating tumour cells (CTCs) and circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA). This analysis provides a comprehensive view of a patient's cancer. CTCs and ctDNA from ovarian, breast, and lung cancer patients were evaluated using Next Generation Sequencing.
The second poster focused on detecting DNA damage in CTCs from ovarian and prostate cancer patients. ANGLE's DNA Damage Response (DDR) assay uses biomarkers γ-H2AX and pKAP1 to identify DDR pathway activation. This is crucial for assessing cancer therapy effectiveness.
