Rockfire Resources up 8% after Greek drilling results

Shares of Rockfire Resources PLC (LSE:ROCK) rose 8% following a positive update from its drilling activities at the Molaoi zinc deposit in Greece.

The company announced significant intersections of zinc, silver, and lead at depth, indicating a high-quality deposit likely to increase in resource tonnage.

Notably, drilling hole HMO-004 revealed a continuous mineralisation zone averaging 24.6m at 8.0% ZnEq starting from 243.42m depth, with high-grade sections containing up to 36.30% zinc, 170.0 g/t silver, and 7.5% lead.

These results are expected to significantly expand the current JORC Inferred Resource and enhance the overall resource model.

In early trading, the stock was up 0.016p at 0.21p.
