Ariana Resources PLC (AIM:AAU) said its due diligence review of the 1.3Moz Dokwe project in Zimbabwe is nearly complete, with diamond drill holes confirming lengthy zones of gold mineralisation.
Four holes were drilled in the North and Central deposits with notable grades including 45m at 2.75g/t from 80m below the surface and 14m at 4.55g/t at 250m down.

Empire Metals Ltd (AIM:EEE) has announced the discovery a new, near-surface titanium dioxide mineral deposit, comprising rutile and anatase, at the Pitfield Project in Western Australia.
The junior has already reported significant titanium mineralisation from bedrock drilling of its Cosgrove and Thomas targets, but said this is a new easily accessible high-value deposit.

Pan African Resources PLC (AIM:PAF, OTCQX:PAFRY, JSE:PAN, OTCQX:PAFRF) has signed a five-year wage deal with the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM), one of the two main unions at its Barberton Mines gold operations in South Africa.
The agreement covers the period from 1 June 2024 to 30 June 2029 and amounts to an average annual increase of approximately 5.3% per annum over the five-year period.
Caledonia Investments (LSE:CLDN) has decided to go ahead with its Bilboes project in Zimbabwe through a single phase of development after a study showed it could return the capital cost in under two years.
Bilboes would almost triple annual production to more than 200,000 ounces of gold a year, Caledonia added.
