Falcon Gold CEO Announces New Drilling Campaign at Great Burnt Copper Project

Falcon Gold CEO Announces New Drilling Campaign at Great Burnt Copper Project

Falcon Gold CEO Karim Rayani joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the commencement of a new drilling campaign at the Great Burnt copper project in central Newfoundland. The company plans to explore up to ten geophysical anomalies with a maximum of 1100 meters of drilling. Rayani explained that the Great Burnt Greenstone Belt is highly prospective for copper and gold. It hosts significant zones, including the South Pond A and South Pond B copper-gold zones, as well as the End Zone copper prospect along a 14 km mineralized corridor.

This corridor occurs along a conductive trend that continues into Falcon's Great Burnt Copper Property, suggesting a strong potential for substantial mineral deposits. Additionally, Rayani highlighted the recent successes of Benton at Great Burnt. Benton's drilling results revealed 7.20% Cu, 7.12 g/t Ag, and 0.05% Co over 12.30 meters, indicating the untapped VMS potential of the Great Burnt area. This success underscores the potential of Falcon Gold's forthcoming drilling campaign to uncover significant mineral resources.
