Graft Polymer jumps again as share price recovery continues

Graft Polymer (LSE:GPL) shot up another 80% today on a seemingly innocuous statement outlining its plans for the future.

One area of focus will be its patented self-nano emulsifying drug delivery systems (SNEDDS) platform, said the statement, to enhance the bioavailability, pharmacokinetics, and stability of biopharmaceutical companies' therapeutics.

“Currently, the company is evaluating a shortlist of five entities for potential future commercial collaboration in this space,” said the statement.

Two utility patent applications (provisional) were recently to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for using its SNEDDS platform in drug delivery for substance use disorders and mental health treatment.

One, on 28 May 2024, covered the innovative application of its SNEDDS platform to enhance the bioavailability, pharmacokinetics, and stability of therapeutics used in treating substance use disorders.

The second, on 31 May 2024, focused on treating mental health disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Shares rose 0.4p to 0.88p.
