Sidney Resources Ord Shs (OTC:SDRC) announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airborne Motorworks (AMW), a company specializing in electromagnetic propulsion and energy equipment, to develop AMW’s wind turbine technology for mining applications.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sidney Resources and AMW will collaborate on a non-exclusive basis on the development and testing of AMW’s wind turbine technology for land-based microgrid applications in mining environments.
This will include real-world testing at Sidney Resources’ project sites.
Sidney Resources highlighted several key features of AWM’s wind turbine technology including high efficiency and reliability, low operational costs, compact and low profile design, quiet operation, and autonomous functionality which allows for the decoupling from main power sources and enables portability and flexible placement in diverse locations.
“This partnership represents a significant step forward in our commitment to sustainable and efficient energy solutions for the mining industry,” Sidney Resources CEO Sean-Rae Zalewski said in a statement.
“By integrating Airborne Motorworks' advanced wind turbine technology, we aim to enhance the environmental and operational performance of our mining sites."
Hugh McElroy, AMW CEO, added: “Our technology has been verified through third-party validation and found to deliver extraordinarily high energy conversion, far more efficient than traditional wind turbines while capable of being adapted to the needs of specific applications such as those of Sidney Resources."
