Power Nickel Inc (TSX-V:PNPN, OTCQB:PNPNF) reported new multi-element assay results from the drill campaign on its Lion Zone, situated five kilometers northeast of the main Nisk Deposit.
The company's winter 2024 drill program has yielded results of 1.91 grams per ton (g/t) gold, 73.48 g/t silver, 9.88% copper, 6.23 g/t palladium, 4.56 g/t platinum, and 0.49% nickel over 5.59 meters.
“The zone continues to be very productive as we explore deeper,” Power Nickel CEO Terry Lynch said in a statement.
“We are seeing the high grade width of about 100 metres and very mineable halos that extend 50 to 75 metres on either side continue at depth.”
Drill holes located to the east and west of the core of the zone penetrated the weakened lateral boundaries, with one hole being more representative of the thicker core.
"All information is good information at this point, and we are constantly learning more and more about this new polymetallic zone,” Ken Williamson, Power Nickel’s vice president exploration told shareholders.
Power Nickel intends to continue drilling at the Lion Discovery during the upcoming summer season, focusing on following up on the deepest mineralized intersections to date.
