Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd (TSX-V:GMG, OTCQX:GMGMF) announced that its energy-saving THERMAL-XR coating has been awarded an industry product excellence award.
The clean energy company’s THERMAL-XR coating system improves the conductivity of corroded heat exchange surfaces. It coats and protects heat exchange surfaces while improving and rebuilding the lost corroded thermal conductivity and increasing the heat transfer rate.
THERMAL-XR was awarded the Product Excellence HVAC Award in Syndey, Australia at the Air Conditioning Refrigeration Building Services Exhibition (ARBS), Australia’s leading event for the heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC-R) and building services sector.
The company highlighted that the Product Excellence HVAC Award is focused on a new technology or re-application of existing technology in product manufacturing that demonstrates innovation in the air conditioning, refrigeration and building services sector.
“This national industry award is really exciting as it shows further progress GMG is making with THERMAL-XR within the HVAC-R industry,” GMG CEO Craig Nicol said in a statement.
“We continue to see various types of industries trialling our product including in the after-market air conditioning, data centres, air conditioner manufacturers, personal electronics, truck and train manufacturers and industrial facilities such as LNG plants.”
