Chill Brands shareholders approve removal of co-founders from board

Chill Brands Group PLC (LSE:CHLL, OTCQB:CHBRF) shareholders officially passed resolutions to remove co-founders Trevor Taylor and Antonio Russo from the board at today’s AGM.

Taylor and Russo, who have served on the company's board since 2020, announced their resignations last month, with the intention to step down on or before 30 September.

Activist investor Jonathan Swann of CFC Underwriting, who holds a 13.45% stake in the London-listed group, had been seeking the ousting of Russo and Taylor in place of Graham Duncan and Aditya Chathli.

Shareholders voted in favour of these proposals today, albeit with less than 80% of the votes in favour.

Chief executive Callum Sommerton remains in the post.
