Midnight Sun Mining Corp (TSX-V:MMA, OTCQB:MDNGF) has added capital markets veteran Margot Naudie to its advisory board.
With over 25 years of experience in capital markets, specializing in natural resources, Naudie brings a wealth of expertise to the company as it advances its Solwezi project in Zambia.
Naudie, president of Elephant Capital, has held senior roles at prominent firms including TD Asset Management and the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board. She has been recognized as a Brendan Wood TopGun Investment Mind (Platinum) for five consecutive years.
"Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to evaluate, advise, and invest in projects the world over,” Naudie said in a statement.
“It is a rare opportunity to have a project located in a top mining jurisdiction, surrounded by world-class mines and operators, with the right geology and multiple discoveries to date.”
"On behalf of the directors and management, I would like to welcome Margot to our team,” Midnight Sun CEO Al Fabbro told investors.
“I believe her depth of capital markets experience, specializing in natural resources, will be invaluable as we move our Solwezi project forward.”
Fabbro noted that 2024 has been transformative for Midnight Sun, highlighted by their significant earn-in agreement with KoBold Metals and collaborative exploration efforts with First Quantum Minerals (TSX:FM). The CEO added that the company is well-financed to achieve its goals.
Midnight Sun's flagship Solwezi project is strategically located in Zambia’s Copperbelt, near major copper mines such as First Quantum’s Kansanshi Mine. The project is poised for significant exploration and development, supported by its promising geology and multiple discoveries to date.
