Most London Stock Exchange IPOs in 2021 have lost market value in the three years since listing.
In total, the LSE’s ‘Class of 2021’ have lost around £30 billion in market value since listing shares publicly.
Over 100 companies were listed on the LSE during what was a record year for IPOs in the City, with Deliveroo, Wise and Dr Martens as some of the biggest names to go public.

Wise PLC (LSE:WISE), the fintech company, was the largest of the 2021 floats, commanding a valuation of more than £9.5 billion.
However, in just three years its valuation has sunk by around 16% to close to £8.3 billion, data from Morningstar revealed.
Deliveroo PLC (LSE:ROO) and Dr Martens PLC (LSE:DOCS) were two of the largest consumer-facing companies to list that year, with market caps of £5.1 billion and £1.5 billion respectively.
Since then, Deliveroo has dropped 65% to £2.1 billion, while Dr Martens has slumped 76% to £846 million.
Darktrace PLC (LSE:DARK) was the only company to buck the trend, lifting 135% from £2.3 billion to £3.7 billion.
Last month, private equity firm Thoma Bravo agreed to purchase the company for US$5.3 billion, representing a 148% premium to its IPO price.
