Moho Resources receives $881,000 research and development refund

Moho Resources Ltd (ASX:MOH) has boosted its bank balance by $881,000 after receiving a refundable tax offset for eligible research and development (R&D) expenditure conducted across its prospective projects during the 2022-23 financial year.

This was in relation to work carried out at the Peak Charles, Burracoppin and Silver Swan North projects in Western Australia.

The company has actively progressed R&D programs in conjunction with the WA Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety and external consultants as part of its overall strategy to improve and refine its mineral discovery processes.

Striving for excellence

“Moho has always strived for exploration excellence and innovation which is further validated by this tax refund for R&D related work completed by the company,” said managing director Ralph Winter.

The company is actively exploring for nickel, PGEs, REE and gold at Silver Swan North, Burracoppin and Peak Charles in WA and Empress Springs in Queensland.

Strong board

Moho has a strong and experienced board led by managing director Ralph Winter and supported by Michael Pereira a finance specialist and corporate adviser, as non-executive.

The board is chaired by Peter Christie, a qualified accountant and tax agent, and successful businessman. He has served on the boards of several public companies in the resource sector since 2006 and has extensive hospitality and property development interests.

Chief geologist Wouter Denig is supported by leading industry consultant geophysicist Kim Frankcombe from ExploreGeo Pty Ltd and experienced consultant geochemist Richard Carver from GCXplore Pty Ltd.
