Golden Arrow eyes first resource estimate for San Pietro this year

Golden Arrow Resources Corp (TSX-V:GRG, OTCQB:GARWF) has provided investors with an update on exploration progress across its portfolio of projects in Chile and Argentina.

At the San Pietro iron-copper-gold-cobalt project in Chile, the mining exploration company is now drilling the second hole of an approximately 10,000-meter diamond drill campaign designed to support a first mineral resource estimate for the project later in the year.

The first hole of the program at the central Rincones target identified four magnetite manto bodies with a thickness of over 10 meters, starting at approximately 42 meters downhole. Additionally, at 350 meters downhole, a new 35-meter wide specularite breccia with visible chalcopyrite was intercepted.

The company has also initiated its 2024 exploration project at the Yanso project in Argentina.

The field team is onsite and carrying out mapping, sampling, and prospecting of both the zinc targets in the north and gold-copper targets in the south.

Meanwhile, at the Potrerillos gold-silver-copper project in Argentina, new reconnaissance sampling and trenching are advancing multiple targets Golden Arrow said.

"Our field teams are fully engaged on exciting gold, copper and base metal projects both in Chile and Argentina,” Golden Arrow VP exploration and development Brian McEwen said in a statement.

“Argentina is once again a hotbed of activity, and our fieldwork is generating excitement both internally and with potential partners in the exploration community. We look forward to strong news flow this summer and through the fall, which we think will be further supported by a robust commodity market.”

Further, Golden Arrow is also working to advance several other projects in its portfolio and to engage with potential joint venture partners.

Its existing joint ventures at the Mogote and Caballos projects are advancing but the operating partners have not yet provided data for public release.
