Raspberry Pi could be the next company to float on the London Stock Exchange, as the recent market optimism of the FTSE's record-breaking run is reflected into the IPO scene.
The Cambridge-based company's could list within the next 10 days, according to a Sunday Times report.
In its last fundraising round, the hobbyist microcomputer outfit was valued at just over £440 million, with the weekend reports suggesting this has risen to around £500 million.
Boss Eben Upton earlier this year mentioned that a retail offer was likely to be part of an IPO to appeal to its global fanbase.
UK chip giant Arm is an existing investor in Raspberry Pi, along with Sony, which makes its computer boards in south Wales.
