Lancaster Resources Inc (CSE:LCR, OTCQB:LANRF) has announced the appointment of Vincent Chen as an independent director to its board of directors.
The New Mexico-focused lithium explorer said Chen brings a robust background in accounting and corporate development within the mining sector to the position.
Chen has previously worked in the mining assurance team at PricewaterhouseCoopers, as a senior analyst at Yamana Gold, and as senior associate of corporate development and investor relations at mining-focused family office Forbes & Manhattan.
He has also acted as a strategic consultant for junior mining companies including Emerita Resources, Halcones Precious Metals and Lithium Ionic.
Lancaster Resources CEO Penny White welcomed Chen to the board.
"His experience and strategic insight into the mining industry will be invaluable as we continue to develop our lithium and gold assets,” White said.
“Vincent's leadership in corporate development and investor relations will undoubtedly contribute to our mission of elevating our standing in the gold and critical minerals sectors."
Chen added that he was excited and proud to join Lancaster’s board.
“It is impressive what the leadership team has accomplished in such a short period of time in New Mexico,” he said.
“I am focused on the opportunities ahead and committed to help navigate a successful path forward for our projects and shareholders. I am truly excited to work with the team here."
