Blackbird PLC (AIM:BIRD, OTC:BBRDF) has announced non-executive director Dawn Airey will step down from the company at the end of May.
A process has begun to find a successor, Blackbird announced on Thursday, as Airey leaves to focus on other commitments.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Dawn for her invaluable support and contribution to the business over her time with us,” chair Andrew Bentley commented.
“She has made a huge contribution to our understanding of the media landscape that we operate in and where we are best able to focus our energies, always providing insightful and considered opinions to the board.”
Blackbird operates in the software as a service and cloud video market, offering video content creation and editing platforms.
Airey had joined the company in 2019, having held roles across the media industry beforehand, including as chief executive of Channel 5 and Getty Images.
“We wish her every success with her new production venture and the exciting journey that she is continuing on,” Bentley added.
