SWMBRD Sports Inc (CSE:SWIM) told investors it has successfully registered design patents in the United States and Canada, for the company’s unique aquatic sports board and accessories.
The company, in a statement, described it as a significant step in strengthening the company's market position as an innovator in aquatic sports equipment.
“SWMBRD’s expanding intellectual property portfolio continues to be a key strategic component of the company’s growth,” the company said in a statement.
“While SWMBRD does not divulge jurisdictions in which intellectual property applications are still pending, the company is pleased to keep investors apprised of important jurisdictions in which applications have been successful, such as the United States and Canadian design patents now granted.
It added: “We would like to thank Thomas Bailey and the team at Oyen, Wiggs, Green & Mutala LLP for all their efforts in helping to secure this very important accomplishment.”
SWMBRD noted that it had successfully expanded its production capabilities through a partnership with Tahe Outdoors, a manufacturer based in Vannes, France.
The collaboration aligns with SWMBRD’s strategic goals and enhances its ability to deliver high-quality aquatic sports products globally.
