Graft Polymer (UK) PLC (LSE:GPL) has announced Anthony Tennyson as its new chief executive, effective immediately.
Tennyson, who co-founded and leads Awakn Life Sciences Corp, replaces Victor Bolduev, who will now serve as chief technology officer.
Tennyson will conduct a thorough review of the company's operations to maximise the value of its assets, including the Graft Bio drug delivery solution, and explore opportunities for commercial growth and strategic partnerships.
Chairman Nicholas Nelson said: "We thank Victor for his role as CEO through an extremely difficult time for the company.
"Remaining on the Board, he will work alongside Anthony during and following his review of the operations. Anthony comes on board as we develop our future as a medical products and services company with the existing Graft Bio medical devices business remaining at the company's heart."
Tennyson's prior experience includes positions at Aon and in the capital markets with Merrill Lynch and Bank of Ireland (LSE:BKIR).
