Xalles Holdings (OTC:XALL) subsidiary CashX announced it will be showcasing at the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) event, a premier event for the convenience services industry, being held in Dallas, Texas, from May 7 to 9.
CashX, a provider of financial services to the underbanked, will launch its updated mobile app at the event.
Highlights of the revamped app include integrations with Ticketmaster for seamless event ticket purchases and advanced AI-driven advertising capabilities, the company said.
The app also includes the new ‘Pay By Barcode’ feature, which allows customers to load their mobile wallets at over 40,000 locations across the US and Mexico.
"The NAMA show is the perfect platform to introduce our latest technological advancements and underline our commitment to modernizing convenience services," CashX CEO Stephen Combe said.
"Our new mobile app not only sports a fresh look but also includes features that set new standards in the industry, such as integrating entertainment, advertising, and versatile payment solutions."
Additionally, CashX announced the appointment of Craig Libson as executive vice president of Card Programs.
He will lead the launch of CashX’s instant issue Mastercard, which the company said is targeting the more than 60 million unbanked individuals in the US and 1.1 billion worldwide.
Libson brings more than 30 years of experience as an executive and attorney across gaming, payment and fintech companies.
"Craig is exceptionally positioned to propel our mission forward, leveraging his profound insights into tech-driven financial services to enhance financial inclusion globally," Combe commented.
"Craig's leadership is expected to greatly influence CashX's strategic direction and operational success, aiming to transform financial service delivery for the underserved."
Libson expressed excitement over the appointment. "I am excited to drive CashX's vision of accessible and equitable financial services, making significant impacts on the economic well-being of millions,” he said.
