Norsk Titanium secures deal with Boeing, posts robust growth amid aerospace market expansion

Norsk Titanium (OTCQX:NORSF), a prominent player in aerospace-grade structural titanium components manufacturing through its patented Rapid Plasma Deposition technology, has sealed a significant agreement to supply parts directly to The Boeing Company.

The accord signals the initiation of a direct supplier relationship between the two entities, enabling Norsk Titanium (OTCQX:NORSF) to become a Tier-1 supplier within Boeing's procurement system.

While the company presently delivers serial production parts to Boeing's supply chain partners, this deal paves the way for direct deliveries to Boeing later this year, projecting to provide hundreds of structural components through 2025.

Nick Mayer, VP Commercial at Norsk Titanium (OTCQX:NORSF), expressed confidence in the company's ability to bolster production volumes in 2024, highlighting its role as a reliable partner in the commercial aerospace sector.

"Our RPD technology and established material specifications position Norsk Titanium (OTCQX:NORSF) to react quickly to the demands of our customers," Mayer said in a statement.

In addition to the Boeing agreement, Norsk Titanium has recently inked a Master Supply Agreement with Airbus Aerostructures, marking a significant milestone in its expansion strategy.

Carl Johnson, CEO of Norsk Titanium, told investors that the Master Supply Agreement with Airbus Aerostructures marks “the start of a new phase for Norsk Titanium,” shifting focus from development to serial production.

“The Airbus Aerostructures supply agreement and other similar agreements provide a unique platform for driving revenue growth,” Johnson added.

The company's operational and financial update indicates promising growth, with 21 parts in serial production across multiple customers, yielding annual recurring revenue of approximately US$6 million. Anticipated expansions are set to boost revenue to US$50 million by the end of 2024, laying the groundwork for a longer-term revenue target of US$150 million by 2026.

Despite initial delays in contract negotiations and product development timelines in 2024, Norsk said it remains optimistic about reaching a commercial inflection point this year. The completion of a rights issue in February 2024 provided the company with approximately US$18 million in gross proceeds, further fortifying its financial position and supporting its growth plans.
