RBC Capital has tweaked higher its price target for shares in Barclays PLC (LSE:BARC) in the wake of last week's quarterly figures.
It has moved its valuation up by 5p share to 260p, which is a 27% premium to the current stock price of 206p. The Canadian investment bank maintained its 'overweight' rating.
In a short note on Monday, it told clients it had increased its financial year 2025 profit estimate by around 4%, but has made no change to its three-year cumulative return calculation of £10.2 billion, some £200 million ahead of guidance.
Of the 18 banks and brokerages listed as covering Barclays, 15 are positive on stock in the high street lender.
