Itaconix PLC (AIM:ITX, OTCQB:ITXXF), a pioneer in sustainable plant-based polymers, has introduced two groundbreaking ingredients designed to enhance household detergents' performance and replace phosphates.
The newly launched TSI 422 and ONZ 405 ingredients are derived from plant-based materials, ensuring safety for the environment while advancing the performance of household cleaning products.
The former significantly improves the ability of detergents to combat the effects of hard water, particularly in dishwashing applications.
This ingredient builds on the benefits of the company's prior product, Itaconix TSI 322, by offering enhanced scale inhibition and more compact dosing options while maintaining a high content of plant-based components.
Additionally, Itaconix ONZ 405, a new powder form of the company's line of liquid odour-neutralising agents, extends the range of potential performance claims to include powder laundry additives and plastic-free detergent concentrates. This addition is poised to meet the growing consumer demand for sustainable and effective cleaning solutions.
"Itaconix ingredients are enabling new generations of safer consumer products with new performance, better cost efficacy, and increased sustainability," CEO John Shaw said.
"Our new products show our commitment to delivering continuous innovation that benefits everyday products, consumers, and the environment."
