Hillcrest Energy Technologies Ltd (CSE:HEAT, OTCQB:HLRTF) is eyeing the successful commercialization of its Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) technology as it gains traction in new applications.
The clean technology company said its technology has “transformative” potential beyond traction inverters, expanding into new sectors including battery storage, EV charging, and industrial marine applications.
"The ability to deliver industry-leading efficiencies and compatibility across various power conversion devices has garnered significant interest from suppliers across multiple sectors,” James Bolen, Hillcrest’s chief commercial officer, said.
“This diversification not only enhances Hillcrest's market opportunities but also strengthens its position as a leader in the clean technology landscape."
Hillcrest highlighted the ongoing testing of its ZVS traction inverter at the facilities of major European automotive manufacturers.
The company said the inverter has demonstrated “exceptional efficiency levels” in initial results.
It added that electromagnetic compatibility chamber tests carried out in partnership with another European automotive manufacturer reaffirmed that Hillcrest’s ZVS inverter outperformed its conventional counterparts.
"We're accelerating toward commercial opportunities and have booked a lineup of customer demonstrations and testing sessions through June with additional opportunities eager to secure their spot before the end of the year,” Hillcrest CEO Don Currie commented.
“Coupled with the advancing discussions on several potential commercialization agreements, we are accelerating forward with incredible speed and agility.”
