Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) announced that it will receive a patent from the US Patent and Trademark Office for its technology to assemble and segment parts for 3D CAD files allowing for each 3D part to be textured individually.
The augmented reality and AI company said this technology is already being successfully used on the Toggle3D.ai platform.
The patent approval adds to the patent portfolio of Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF)’s group of companies, which already includes patents for various aspects of 3D modelling technology such as for core algorithms for creating 3D models automatically from 2D photos and for a method of compressing large textures with regular patterns to reduce the size of the texture files.
The company said the patent approval reiterated its commitment to increasing shareholder value by investing in 3D AI and GPT patents and solutions.
“This is another patent which the company believes is pivotal to Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF)'s artificial intelligence technology stack as it builds a moat around its 3D model making for eCommerce business with industry expertise and intellectual property; which includes its GPT AI-powered 3D model generation,” it said in a statement.
Nextech3D.ai supplies 3D models to major eCommerce retailers including Amazon, Miele, P&G, Kohls, Wesfarmers Group, and Bunnings.
