Fineqia taps Warren Sergeant as new CFO designate

Fineqia International Inc (CSE:FNQ, OTC:FNQQF) has announced the appointment of Warren Sergeant as its chief financial officer (CFO) designate.

The digital asset and fintech investment business said Sergeant will lead the company’s finance department and support its business strategy.

It highlighted that Sergeant, a London-based chartered accountant, brings extensive experience in finance and technology to the position.

He has advised global hedge funds including Arrowgrass Capital Partners, Fundsmith, and the Opportunity Fund and launched two professional service consulting companies in South Africa, Seach Business Consulting and Izala Verificators.

Sergeant has also previously worked at PremFina, a company founded by Fineqia CEO Bundeep Singh Rangar, where he was director of international finance.

"Warren's track record and experience uniquely position him to support Fineqia's digital asset initiatives and growth plan," CEO Rangar said.

"Having worked with him, I can vouch for his tremendous skills and expertise."

Sergeant expressed his excitement over the appointment.

"Fineqia's commitment to innovation in digital assets aligns with my passion for shaping the future of finance," he said. "I'm excited to be part of its success and furthering its position as a leader in the industry."

The company noted that Sergeant’s appointment as CFO will be formally confirmed subject to regulatory clearances.

Sergeant will replace interim CFO Stephan McCann, who will be resigning from the position. The company thanked McCann for his efforts.
