Terran Orbital (NYSE:LLAP) subsidiary Tyvak International announced the successful launch of the Fleet Space Technologies’ Centauri-6 satellite, which Italy-based Tyvak helped develop.
It was launched on Sunday, April 7 on board the SpaceX Bandwagon-1 mission from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
The addition of Centauri-6 to Fleet Space Technologies’ satellite constellation will play a key role in meeting demand for the Australian space exploration company’s mineral exploration solution ExoSphere, Tyvak International said.
It highlighted that Fleet Space Technologies’ ExoSphere technology enables the delivery of 3D subsurface models for exploration customers in days to deliver advanced SATCOM capabilities with highly efficient connectivity.
