Golden Metal Resources reveals significant findings in Nevada survey

Golden Metal Resources PLC (AIM:GMET) told investors it has unearthed significant results from its magnetic geophysics survey at the Garfield project in the Walker Lane Mineral Belt, Nevada.

The survey revealed three significant magnetic anomalies in the Power-Line Zone and High-Grade Zone.

The anomalies are directly associated with surface indications of copper (Cu), gold (Au), and silver (Ag) mineralization, the company confirmed.

"When we commissioned this magnetic geophysics survey over Garfield we were hoping to find anomalies within the 'High-Grade' and 'Power-Line' zones which resembled buried porphyry targets - and that is precisely what we have found,” chief executive Oliver Friesen said in a statement.

The findings align with the company's geological models and previous findings of porphyry and epithermal style mineralisation in the area, Golden Metal Resources highlighted.

Looking ahead, the company intends to advance further analysis to better understand the detected anomalies' shapes and sizes in three-dimensional space.

Golden Metal also told investors it intends to accelerate preparations for its flagship Pilot Mountain project, with drilling expected to commence soon.
