Alpha Financial Markets Consulting PLC (AIM:AFM) said that the slower January trading has been followed by improvements through the rest of its final quarter, with the financial year ending with overall consultant utilisation rates close to target levels in March.
As a result, directors said are maintaining guidance for net fee income growth of around 3% year-on-year, with underlying profit (EBITDA) of £42-43 million at a slightly improved margin versus the first half.
"As noted last in February, challenging market conditions remain and the market environment continues to rebalance supply and demand,” said chief executive Luc Baqué.
“However, it is encouraging to see some improvement in market conditions and increased sales wins in recent months and going into FY25.”
Alpha said it continues to see “robust” client demand and has seen higher sales wins in recent months, while keeping its pipeline topped up with new business opportunities.
Baqué said these factors provide confidence for the years ahead.
“With the group's ongoing strong pipeline, leading expertise, strong propositions and multiple growth opportunities, we remain well positioned for future growth,” he said.
