Fineqia International Inc (CSE:FNQ, OTC:FNQQF) announced it will take an equity allocation in Valuex AG, a Lichtenstein-based firm that provides advice, venture building and funding services to technology and blockchain projects.
The company said its investment in Valuex aligns with its strategy of building a portfolio of companies involved in decentralization technologies, Web 3.0, and AI.
The investment gives Fineqia exposure to various companies within Valuex’s advisory portfolio, with highlights including fully licensed and regulated Neobank Enfineo, gaming platform Haunted Space, decentralized cloud service provider Unigrid, and Web3 gaming platform provider Ready Games.
"Valuex has demonstrated remarkable expertise in nurturing multiple businesses and helping them achieve their goals," Fineqia CEO Bundeep Singh Rangar commented.
"Through our investment, we aim to bring resources and opportunities to entrepreneurs behind these companies, enabling them to flourish in a global market."
Valuex chief commercial officer Oliver Schmitt added: "Fineqia's investment opens doors for our portfolio companies to thrive and grow in today's competitive market landscape. Fineqia's investment thesis fits naturally with our focus on nurturing tech and innovation, particularly in the blockchain sector."
Fineqia said its investment represents less than 3% of its market capitalization and that the terms of the investment are confidential.
It said the Valuex portfolio of companies will be included in its Glass Ventures fund, which features Web 4.0 and Web 3.0 companies founded by world-class entrepreneurs.
