OKYO Pharma to include additional analyses in upcoming dry eye disease Key Opinion Leader event

OKYO Pharma Ltd (NASDAQ:OKYO) announced that it is rescheduling its Key Opinion Leader event on the results of its Phase 2 trial of lead asset OK-101 in dry eye disease originally planned for April 9 until May 2024.

The company said this would allow it to allow for the inclusion of additional analyses of its clinical data which it plans to present at upcoming ophthalmic conferences.

It will present at “Dry Horizons Symposium Navigating the Future of Dry Eye Research,” an event taking place in the lead up to the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology conference.

CEO Gary Jacob will present at the Seattle event on Friday, May 3, from 2.50pm to 3.45pm PST.

OKYO Pharma is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing innovative therapies for the treatment of dry eye disease, a multi-billion dollar market, and anterior ocular segment diseases including neuropathic corneal pain, an ocular condition associated with pain but without an FDA-approved therapy.

Its lead clinical asset OK-101 recently showed statistical significance in multiple endpoints in a recently completed Phase 2, multi-center, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial targeting dry eye disease.
