Substrate Artificial Intelligence (AQSE:SAI.B, OTCQB:SUIAF), the Spanish AI firm listed on the BME Growth market, has announced the addition to its large language model development team of Julien Aubert, a former Apple employee who worked on the development and launch of Siri.
Aubert will collaborate with Mei Si, a professor from the Rensselaer Institute of New York, who is developing LLM models for Subgen AI, Substrate's generative AI subsidiary.

"We know that with his experience and talent, he will contribute a lot and will be key, together with Mei Si and her team, in the launch of the models we are currently working on and those that will come in the future.

Aubert's experience includes four years at Apple, where he contributed to the Siri virtual assistant project and roles at Zynapp, the Swedish tech start-up, and the World Food Programme of the United Nations.
Substrate has introduced the Serenity Star ecosystem through Subgen. This generative AI ecosystem offers companies access to over 100 LLMs, AI agents, and various plugins, facilitating the integration of generative AI into their operations without requiring specialized knowledge.
Substrate AI became the first artificial intelligence company listed in Spain when it joined BME Growth in May 2022.
It operates as a holding company for firms that develop and sell AI solutions across various sectors, including healthcare, agritech, fintech, human resources, and energy, aiming to create efficiencies that contribute to sustainability and emissions neutrality.
The company has expanded its international presence with dual listings in London and the US to attract new investors and customers.
