Caldonia has had a buy rating reinstated by house broker Liberum after the gold miner quantified the impact of the one-off charges at is Bilboes development in Zimbabwe.
Reassuringly, added Liberum, the group’s 64%-owned Blanket mine has had a strong start to
2024 and guidance for the current year was maintained.
According to the broker, the coming weeks should also see two potential material catalysts (updated Blanket resources; Bilboes sulphides studies).
Liberum has reduced its target price to 1163p/share from 1264p but put on a buy recommendation after briefly suspending it ahead of the latest update.
