Genel Energy PLC (LSE:GENL, OTC:GEGYY) announced boardroom changes, with senior independent non-executive director Sir Michael Fallon to retire from the board at its AGM in May.
Fallon has been non-executive director and deputy chair for the past four years.
The company said it intends to appoint a new independent non-executive director as soon as practically possible.
“Sir Michael has been a long-standing member of the board, and it has been a pleasure to work with him and benefit from his exceptional geopolitical knowledge and experience. On behalf of the board, we wish him all the best with his other commitments,” Genel chair David McManus said in a statement.
