Steve Brown (SB), chief executive of accesso Technology Group plc, caught up with Proactive’s Stephen Gunnion (SG) to discuss the company’s partnership with Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN)
The agreement not only heralds the introduction of the accesso Horizon platform into the burgeoning Saudi entertainment landscape but also reflects the company's commitment to driving innovation and growth across new markets.
SG: Steve, can you share insights on the landmark agreement with Saudi Entertainment Ventures, also known as SEVEN?
SB: Absolutely, Stephen. It's a pivotal moment for us at accesso. Our strategy has always centered on global expansion, significantly influenced by our acquisition of VGS, now rebranded as accesso Horizon. This agreement with SEVEN is a testament to our commitment to global growth, marking a significant entry into a new region and emphasizing our strategy's execution through tangible actions.
SG: Could you elaborate on SEVEN and its ambitious growth and expansion plans in Saudi Arabia?
SB: SEVEN has a visionary project to build an entertainment ecosystem across Saudi Arabia, encompassing over 21 attractions and more than 150 experiences spread across 14 cities. It's an ambitious, large-scale initiative. The accesso Horizon platform is set to power the entire admission and entitlement process, supporting this expansive operation.
SG: What specific services will accesso Horizon provide to SEVEN at these venues?
SB: Our platform will handle all aspects of ticketing and admission, providing seamless access to the venues in various capacities. This includes general entry and individual attraction access. Beyond ticketing, accesso Horizon serves as a comprehensive visitor management and entitlement platform, covering areas like food and retail, enhancing the overall visitor experience by offering an integrated and seamless customer journey.
SG: Considering the significance of this deal, do you see further potential in the Saudi market for accesso?
SB: Indeed, securing such a prestigious client not only establishes our presence in the region but also sets a foundation for expanding our operations across the area. This includes staffing and infrastructure development, allowing us to leverage this initial success to explore additional opportunities within the region.
SG: Does your technology support dynamic pricing for clients like SEVEN?
SB: Yes, our accesso Horizon platform incorporates dynamic pricing capabilities, offering extensive support for various business strategies our clients may wish to implement, enhancing flexibility and operational efficiency.
SG: Lastly, what's on the horizon for accesso following this deal?
SB: We're looking forward to sharing our 2023 results on April 16 and hosting an investor showcase on May 2 in London. This event, detailed in our recent RNS, is open to both institutional and non-institutional investors, offering a comprehensive overview of our products and company.
