Galliford Try Holdings PLC (LSE:GFRD) has announced the appointment of Rentokil Initial PLC (LSE:RTO) financial controller Kris Hampson as its chief financial officer.
He will join the board no later than September, replacing Andrew Duxbury, the construction firm said in a statement on Thursday.
“I am delighted to welcome Kris as the group's new chief financial officer,” chair Alison Wood said.
“Kris has considerable financial experience with a FTSE 100 company and is an excellent addition to the board.”
Hampson has served as Rentokil’s group financial controller since 2020, having held finance positions at the company for a total of 16 years.
A qualified chartered accountant, he has further experience as a senior finance professional in listed business-to-business firms, Galliford added.
“Kris will play a key role in delivering the group's future growth plans and I look forward to working with him,” Wood continued.
“I am delighted to be joining Galliford Try as it continues its impressive performance and sustainable growth strategy,” Hampson said of his appointment.
