Silver North reveals drilling plans for Tim property

Silver North Resources (TSX-V:SNAG, OTCQB:TARSF) has announced Coeur Mining (NYSE:CDE) plans to carry out around 2,000 metres of drilling at the Tim property during 2024.

Coeur Mining (NYSE:CDE), the group under option at the Tim property, is planning to begin exploration at the property in June and undergo drilling targeting silver-lead-zinc carbonate replacement deposit (CRD) mineralization.

Targets are expected to be like that found at Coeur's Silvertip mine, which is located 19km south of the Tim property.

While completing the drilling, Coeur also plans to undertake geochemical sampling and drill pad and access development, with the crew working out of the Silvertip camp.

Using up to six drill pads, the group will test for potential CRD-style mineralisation across 2,000 metres of strike length of prospective stratigraphy.

In 2022, Coeur conducted a trench sampling test across a four-metre zone and found it returned 468.1 g/t silver, 21.1% lead and 0.3% zinc.

Another test, located 200 metres along strike, found samples of 265 g/t silver, 6.7% lead and 0.9% zinc over 8.8 metres.

Silver North and Coeur's deal will see the latter earn a 51% interest in the Tim property should it complete an additional $3.15 million in exploration expenditures.

Coeur is also required to pay Silver North cash payments of $275,000 by the end of 2026.

The exploration company can increase its stake in the company to as much as 80% based on making additional payments and completing other requirements.
