Endeavour Mining PLC (LSE:EDV, TSX:EDV, OTCQX:EDVMF) hailed an 11th consecutive year of achieving or beating production guidance as it unveiled annual earnings (EBITDA) of $1.05 billion and shareholder returns of $266 million.
While the full-year earnings figure was down 8% year on year, the Africa-focused gold miner delivered $292 million in earnings, up 11%, at an all-in cost of $947 an ounce.
Production for the year as a whole was 1.1m ounces of the yellow metal.
Operating cash flow was $746 million for the 12 months ended December 31. Endeavour's dividend payments for the year will total $200 million with $66 million set aside for share buybacks.
Looking ahead, the Sabodala-Massawa expansion and Lafigué project are both on budget and on track for first gold in the second quarter.
