Usha Resources Ltd (TSX-V:USHA) has announced the commencement of its fourth phase of fieldwork at the White Willow lithium pegmatite project.
The primary objective of this phase is to further define two LCT dykes, both of which are earmarked for the company's maiden drill program scheduled to begin in the spring.
Phase 3, which concluded in January, yielded promising results. Over the course of 10 weeks, Usha conducted detailed mapping and prospecting, collecting a total of 727 grab samples.
Exploration successfully extended the potential strike of the LCT pegmatite trend to over 27 kilometers, with exploration still ongoing at both ends.
Furthermore, fractionation indicators suggest that the dykes at both the Bingo and Maple Leaf sites have attained spodumene-type degrees of fractionation, Usha said.
Notable highlights from the targets identified thus far include lithium oxide concentrations of up to 0.5% (2,310 ppm), cesium levels of 1,833 ppm, tantalum concentrations of 120,000 ppm, and rubidium levels of 4,100 ppm.
With Phase Four now underway, Usha Resources remains focused on advancing its understanding of the project's geological characteristics.
