Fineqia subsidiary wins approval to list exchange traded notes on Vienna Stock Exchange

Fineqia International Inc (CSE:FNQ, OTC:FNQQF) announced that its subsidiary Fineqia AG has received approval from the Vienna Stock Exchange to list Exchange Traded Notes (ETNs) with digital assets as their underlying collateral.

The company said that the admittance of Fineqia AG’s “debt issuance program” to the Vienna Stock Exchange allows it to automatically list ETNs that adhere to its base prospectus, without requiring for the listing to be individually approved.

As such, Fineqia AG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fineqia International domiciled in Lichtenstein, on March 22 renewed its prospectus with Lichtenstein’s regulator, the Financial Markets Authority (FMA).

The base prospectus allows Fineqia AG’s ETNs to hold cryptocurrencies such as Avalanche, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, NEAR, Polkadot, Tezos, TRON and Uniswap, in addition to non-fungible tokens.

"The pathway is now open for us to bring signature and differentiated products to the European market," Fineqia CEO Bundeep Singh Rangar said.

"The approvals by the VSE and FMA gives us something akin to a master license to swiftly and efficiently list ETNs that are fully compliant with regulations."

Benchmark pricing data and distribution for Fineqia’s ETNs will be provided by global index provider FTSE Russell, a division of the London Stock Exchange Group, per a recently announced agreement.

Canada-based Fineqia is a digital asset business that builds and targets investments in early and growth-stage technology companies that will be part of the next generation of the internet.
