Nextech3D.ai to receive patent for transforming 2D images into 3D models

Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) said it is set to receive a US patent for its technology capable of generating three-dimensional (3D) models from two-dimensional (2D) images.

The impending patent, slated for issuance on April 2, 2024, adds to the company's arsenal of intellectual property, fortifying its technological moat around 3D model generation for e-commerce applications, including its GPT AI-powered 3D model generation.

Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF)'s patented technology swiftly converts 2D images into fully textured 3D representations using user-friendly software tools. This streamlined workflow not only boosts productivity but also significantly reduces costs.

"I am thrilled to safeguard our intellectual property with these patents,” head of product operations Hareesh Achi said in a statement.

“It's a testament to our team of exceptionally talented AI engineers and 3D designers who continuously contribute to the development of our groundbreaking products. We are strategically positioned to capitalize on the ongoing evolution of 3D technology in the years ahead.”

This patent follows a previous grant by the USPTO in December 2023, where Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) received a patent for 3D model generation from Computer-Aided Design (CAD) data.
