Crossword Cybersecurity PLC (AIM:CCS) has consolidated its expertise in artificial intelligence to create a new cyberAI practice.
It will be wrapped into the company's consulting division to offer advanced AI-based services and products.
Underlining its expertise in the area, Crossword pointed out it had already led a 'significant initiative' that has assessed the application of generative AI in cyber security, teaming up with Oxford University, MIT and the Alan Turing Institute as part of the process.
"The latest wave of AI technologies hit the security industry with such pace that many businesses have been struggling to keep up," said James Henry, the company's consulting innovation director.
"At Crossword it is our mission to provide businesses with the knowledge and tools needed to securely embrace the benefits of Generative AI technologies, whilst also managing the associated risks."
