Great Boulder Resources Ltd (ASX:GBR) managing director Andrew Paterson joins Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss the promising developments at the Pollele Gold Project. The surface geochemistry review has uncovered several large, high-tenor pathfinder anomalies, suggesting potential gold mineralisation. This finding at Pollele, located near Meekatharra in Western Australia, shows similarities to the company's Mulga Bill and Side Well projects.
Great Boulder, in a joint venture with Castle Minerals, is optimistic about these initial results, with the potential to exercise a 75% acquisition option if the findings align with their strategic objectives. The limited drilling at Pollele to date points to significant untapped potential, with many targets yet to be explored.
Next steps for the project include drilling to investigate the identified 4-kilometre-long zone of pathfinder elements, paralleling the mineralised Albury Heath shear. This exploration approach, honed at Side Well, is anticipated to yield valuable insights into the gold prospects at Pollele.
Additionally, Great Boulder Resources is preparing for aircore drilling at the Side Well project.
