Blackbird PLC (AIM:BIRD, OTC:BBRDF) is adding a new artificial intelligence-powered plugin to its video editing suite to allow users to search for exact moments within content.
The AI technology is being provided via a partnership with Twelve Labs, a specialist in 'video understanding' with AI that allows editorial teams to find exact moments using natural language, avoiding time-consuming manual seeking.
Blackbird has committed to adding plugin architecture, with a new plugin embedded into its editing platform that enables a seamless integration of Twelve Labs and in turn access to its indexing technology and AI auto-sequencing productivity tool.
