Wise PLC (LSE:WISE) has poached Emmanuel Thomassin from Delivery Hero (ETR:DHER, OTCQX:DLVHF) to be its new chief financial officer.
Thomassin will join the foreign exchange financial technology firm in October, replacing Matthew Briers in the role.
Matthew Briers has stepped down with immediate effect after announcing his departure last year, Wise said in a statement, with Kingsley Kemish taking over on an interim basis.
Thomassin has held the CFO role at Delivery Hero (ETR:DHER, OTCQX:DLVHF) for a decade since shortly after the firm was founded in 2011.
“Emmanuel has a proven track record of scaling companies in rapidly evolving industries - from startups to public companies,” chair David Wells commented.
Chief executive Kristo Käärmann added that Thomassin's "deep experience in leading teams while scaling a fast-growth company globally makes him the ideal candidate to take up this challenge and join us on our mission as we enter our second decade".
