ARway.ai (CSE:ARWY, OTCQB:ARWYF) has announced a new partnership with Albania’s leading home improvement and DIY retailer Megatek.
The provider of augmented reality (AR) experiences for indoor spaces said that this collaboration will kick off with a pilot program at Megatek’s flagship store spanning more than 323,000 square feet, where customers have encountered challenges navigating the expansive retail space.
It said that to address these challenges, ARway and Megatek are deploying a solution that combines AR navigation and wayfinding with digital advertising and content delivery.
It highlighted that unlike traditional in-store kiosks, which require investments in hardware and installation, ARway’s mobile app technology is a cost-effective and user-friendly alternative.
Customers can make use of seamless in-store navigation with a single scan which allows them to access to product directory, detailed descriptions, and pinpoint navigation to their target merchandise leveraging ARway’s spatial accuracy technology.
“By integrating AR technology into the shopping experience, Megatek aims to enhance customer satisfaction, reduce time spent in-store, and open new channels for personalized, proximity-based promotions,” ARway said in a statement.
ARway called the partnership a significant milestone for the company as it marks its entry into the European retail market.
It comes after the company recently announced a new paid partner deal with Turkey-based automation systems software developer EWROS, another step in ARway’s expansion.
