First Phosphate Corp CEO John Passalacqua and Chief Geologist Gilles Laverdiere joined Steve Darling from Proactive to shared the initial assay results from the ongoing drill program at the Bégin-Lamarche Project in Quebec. Phosphate Mountain Zone: Nine drill holes have been completed in this zone, intersecting high apatite-bearing peridotite visually containing from 30% to 80% apatite over widths of up to 43 metres.
In the Northern Zone drill hole BL-24-25 intersected 9.89% P2O5 (phosphate) over 42.80 metres starting at a depth of 74.20 meters while Drill hole BL-24-26 intersected 9.44% P2O5 over 89.10 metres starting at a depth of 6.90 meters. The Northwestern Zone saw drill holes BL-24-49 and BL-24-54 intersected 20 metres and 40 metres of peridotite, respectively, visually containing 30% apatite. And finally the Southern Zone with drill hole BL-24-24 intersected 5.22% P2O5 over 129.60 metres starting at a depth of 61.30 metres. Drill hole BL-24-35 intersected a new higher-grade layer of 7.82% P2O5 over 22.40 metres starting at a depth of 165.10 meters.
These initial assay results indicate significant phosphate mineralization across multiple zones within the project area. The company anticipates more results from ongoing drilling activities in the coming weeks, which will further enhance its understanding of the project's potential.
