Hertz Energy reports change of directors

Hertz Energy (CSE:HZ, OTCQB:HZLIF) announced the resignation of independent director Robert Barker and the appointment of Jamie Hogue to fill the vacancy on its board of directors.

The company noted that Barker joined the company as a founding board member in February 2022.

"On behalf of the board and management, we would like to thank Robert for his valuable contribution as a founding director of the company and throughout his subsequent tenure. We wish him the best with his future endeavours," CEO Kal Malhi said in a statement.

New director Hogue brings more than two decades of experience in strategic leadership financial analysis, with a focus on business scaling across energy, natural resources, water and sustainability, to the position.

She currently serves in executive roles in the public and private sectors, as well as academia.

The company said it has granted stock options to Hogue to purchase 150,000 shares. The options, which vest over one year, are exercisable at $0.20 per share for five years from the date of grant.
