Kootenay Silver announces 2024 drill program has begun at Columba Silver Project in Mexico

Kootenay Silver announces 2024 drill program has begun at Columba Silver Project in Mexico

Kootenay Silver CEO Jim McDonald joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the commencement of its Q1 diamond drilling program at the Columba Silver Project in Mexico. The program, slated to include 15-17 drillholes totaling 5,000 meters, aims to build upon previous intercepts along the highly prospective D-Vein target. McDonald elaborated that the primary objective of the current drilling program is to extend the D-Vein, laying the groundwork for a subsequent program encompassing approximately 15,000 meters.

This subsequent phase is intended to delineate a maiden resource, with an anticipated release expected in late 2024, contingent upon additional drilling beyond the initial 5,000-meter program and the requisite financing. In addition to the D-Vein, McDonald highlighted that the company maintains a priority list of new vein targets and known vein extensions, all of which warrant drill testing. This strategic approach underscores Kootenay Silver's commitment to maximizing the exploration potential of the Columba Silver Project and unlocking additional value for stakeholders.
