Appia Rare Earth and Uranium Corp President Stephen Burega joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce that the company has received an independent maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for its ionic adsorption clay project PNH located in Brazil. Burega shared with Proactive that the maiden resource for the PCH Project is estimated at 52.8 million tonnes, consisting of 6.6 million tonnes of indicated resources with a grade of 2,513 parts per million total rare earth oxide (TREO), and 46.2 million tonnes of inferred resources with a grade of 2,888 ppm TREO.
He further highlighted that the deposit contains significant concentrations of neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, and terbium, which are rare earth elements in high demand to produce permanent magnets. Currently, the company is conducting a significant evaluation of the potential desorbed rare earth oxide, with results pending. Additionally, Appia continues its exploratory auger drilling program to test multiple new target areas across the PCH project, which spans over 40,000 hectares. The company plans to evaluate future targets for TREO, scandium, and cobalt potential as well.
