Midnight Sun Mining adds experienced geologist Darin Wagner to advisory board

Midnight Sun Mining Corp (TSX-V:MMA, OTCQB:MDNGF) announced the appointment of Darin Wagner to the company’s Advisory Board.

The company said that Wagner, a professional geologist, brings more than two decades of experience building and leading exploration-stage companies, including in M&A transactions and fundraising for mineral exploration.

His previous appointments include as CEO of the mining companies West Timmins Mining and Balmoral Resources. He currently serves as a technical advisor to MAG Silver and Dryden Gold.

“As we move forward with the exploration of our flagship Solwezi project, it is imperative that we continue to bolster our team,” Midnight Sun CEO Al Fabbro said.

“The breadth of experience Darin brings, particularly with his experience in Africa and successfully leading a number of M&A transactions, will be invaluable to Midnight Sun.”

Wagner commented that it was increasingly rare to find a junior explorer like Midnight Sun, where its exploration team is making new discoveries in an area populated by major copper producers.

“Solwezi is a rare asset amongst junior explorers as evidenced by the strong third-party interest in helping to move the project forward,” Wagner said.

“The recent agreement with KoBold Metals is a hugely significant milestone and shareholders should be excited about what this means for the project.”

Midnight Sun is focused on exploring its flagship Solwezi copper project, located in Zambia.
